This reconstituted stone clad residential tower and adjacent eight-storey commercial building is located to the north of the Elephant and Castle. A typical tower floor provides between ten and twelve single and dual aspect flats arranged around a lift and stair core. Retail and cafe spaces, as well as building entry lobbies, provide active ground floor uses to both buildings. The relocation of bus routes and stands will allow significant improvements to the public realm around the site.
The building is adjacent Elephant and Castle Underground Station, with the Northern Line running very close to the basement piles, requiring continual monitoring and liaison.
